Royal York Hotel, Toronto, Ontario - Hot junior middleweight prospect Adam Trupish (11-0 8KOs) stopped Darryl Cunningham (25-4, 10KOs) in the fifth round of a middleweight contest. Trupish suffered cuts over and under his left eye in the first round as a result of Cunningham's head butts. Cunningham took a beating in the first round, receiving two standing eight counts. Trupish slowed down in the following rounds, but he eventually nailed Cunningham with a vicious left hook that sent him crashing to the canvas at 1:30 of the fifth and the fight was over.

standing 8's are foolish i pro boxing...if a boxer is so hurt twice, he needs a S8, the ref needs 2 stop the bout instead of giving th S8...
