Heavyweight Andrew Golota (41-9-1, 33 KOs) will bid farewell to the ring on October 25th in Czestochowa, headlining the card "Fight Night 9: Farewell." Golota will reportedly cross gloves with Danell Nicholson (42-5, 32 KOs). Nicholson, 46, has been inactive since 2003 when he stepped away from the ring after getting knocked out in four rounds by Wladimir Klitschko.
This fight is actually a rematch, Golota stopped Nicholson in the eleventh round of an HBO televised fight in 1996.
Golota, 46-years-old, was stopped in his last three fights and only fought four times since 2008. He took a break from 2009 to 2013 and was stopped in the sixth round in his February 2013 comeback fight against Przemyslaw Saleta.
