The French junior middleweight Bakary Samake is to fight Saulo Morales Saldivar of Mexico at the Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan in Levallois Perret, France on October 26.
Samake, 18-0 (10KOs) and 22 years old, had been on course for an eliminator for the WBC title but will instead remain active against the 15-2-1 (14KOs) Saldivar.
The 27-year-old Saldivar competed in the WBC Grand Prix, in which he stopped Shakul Samed in April before losing via decision to Petro Frolov in June.
Samake Promotions, ultimately, hope that that eliminator will instead take place in early 2026.
