VERONA, New York – Bryce Mills may be upstate New York’s biggest attraction, but he’s also building a reputation for being more than just a ticket seller.

Mills, a 24-year-old from Liverpool, New York, added a minor junior welterweight title on Saturday, stopping Tobias Green at 1 minute, 23 seconds of the fourth round of their scheduled 10-round bout here at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino.

Mills, who is perhaps the biggest local ticket seller in the region since “Baby” Joe Mesi, packed the events center for the show promoted by Manny Pacquiao Promotions.

Mills, 21-1 (8 KOs), made the first statement of the fight in Round 1, landing a pair of jolting rights to the chin over lazy jabs from Green and a few damaging left hooks to the body. The pressure didn’t let up in the second, as Mills began to work in left uppercuts. Green responded by targeting the midsection with both hands to try and slow Mills down. He slowly began sneaking his way into the fight by the third round, landing sharp uppercuts as Mills rested his head in the middle a little too long.

Mills caught up to Green in the fourth, rocking him with a right uppercut that wobbled his legs and left him defenseless. Mills rushed in for the finish, landing another series of punches on the ropes, including another uppercut and two overhand rights that ended the bout.

Afterwards, Mills called for a matchup with Emiliano Vargas, 16-0 (13 KOs), for a high-profile matchup between 140lbs prospects.

“I love Syracuse, but if I have to go out to Vegas, I’m ready to go ASAP,” said Mills.

Green, 12-4-1 (4 KOs), of Riviera Beach, Florida, lost for the first time by stoppage as a pro. The 29-year-old Green was fighting for the first time since July 2024.
