Manuel Charr (22-1, 12 KOs) has been continuing his campaign to get another fight for the WBC heavyweight title. The Lebanon-born fighter believes that the fastest way to secure a rematch with Vitali Klitschko (45-2, 41 KOs) is beating former two division David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs), who is also keen to clash with the 41-years old Ukrainian.
"This belt belong to me! I’m going to fight until I get it. David “The Chicken” Haye, I’ll find you even in the jungle. Don’t run, like you did against Wladimir [in the past]. We both want to face Vitali, so let’s meet in the ring. Come and fight like a man and don’t make excuses about TV etc. I’m ready to come to England or anywhere else. I know I’ll knock you out,” blasted Charr.
Charr returned for the first time since his loss to the elder Klitschko in December, knocking German fighter Konstantin Airich (24-9-2, 18 KOs) out in the first round.
