Former four division world champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez (46-1, 38 KOs) has vowed to go for a knockout if a rematch takes place with Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (42-4-1, 38 KOs) of Thailand.

The scores were 114-112, 114-112 and 113-113. There were many at ringside who felt Gonzalez had done enough to win.

Gonzalez wants an immediate rematch to inflict some payback on Sor Rungvisai. He believes a knockout will be necessary to avoid being robbed on the scorecards.

With the loss, Gonzalez lost his position as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the sport, but he's not concerned with that label and only wants to avenge the first defeat of his pro career.

"I know I have to turn the page," González explained to Channel 4. "I saw this morning [that I was replaced as the top pound-for-pound fighter]. I hardly look at the news because I'm busy, but I feel happy. I've always said that when I was in first place, I did not think I was the best [pound-for-pound fighter out there]. We've all been good since we got into boxing. It was a difficult fight, I certainly want to recover my title, it would be a blessing if the immediate rematch came and if I doesn't I think it will come later on."

"I would be focused on knocking him out, because it would be a fight in which I am going to prove that I am still the best in the world, it is the only way I can win. What happened on Saturday is a sadness for boxing. I know that I must turn the page, but it is a sadness as they took that fight away from me."
