In a battle of Al Haymon managed heavyweights, Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola (36-3, 31KOs) destroyed Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell (26-2-1, 19KOs) in the first round to capture the WBC International and NABO heavyweight titles. Arreola rocked Mitchell bad with the first hard right hand in the second minute of the first. He held on for dear life and was thrown down by Arreola and it wasn't scored a knockdown. Arreola landed a few more hard shots to drop Mitchell down hard - and this time it was counted as a knockdown. Once Mitchell beat the count, Arreola started unloading - and Mitchell wasn't punching back, and the referee jumped in to stop the action.

i wish it would have lasted longer, arreola didn't get any real work in, such an easy win he didn't learn anything from it nor did he get better, all he got is a W
nothing impressive cuz we already knew of mitchell's weaknesses going into this fight, it could actually be bad for arreola cuz now he might get a sense of over confidence, but he did say he's gonna change his ways so who knows, maybe he has a shot at something
all this fight really shows is how bad mitchell really is if u can crack him on the chin, amazing how he was promoted to a top 10 contender with that chin, u can't make it that far in the game with that kind of chin unless u were given the worst kind of opponents and had a real good promoter

Idiot... you should be drug tested.... Arreola stops a tomatoe can like Seth Mitchell, and now you have him stopping ANY Klitschko????? Guys like you shouldn't even be allowed to comment here. Go write on a bathroom stall. Either Klitschko would keep that slow, flat footed sloth out on the end of their jack hammer jabs, bust his ugly mug up like he fell into a wood chipper, and knock his azz OUT in 4 rounds or less.... just got the results back... you failed your drug test clown....
Maybe you should be drug tested. Because you're clearly either replying to somebody else or you misread that I'm quoting somebody else in my signature to mock them?
Seriously and he was proud of the "Work he put in" and he still is fat as **** and looks like his training routine consists of pizza and Wii fit
LOL
Travis walker clone... He isn't as bad as everyone says. His weakness got exposed as the competition got better. He destroyed timur ibragimov & got witherspoon out in a couple. He beats all the C & C+ guys but when the fighters are above that level he has issues. Still can get fights & some good travel in like travis walker. So we know that mitchell's chin will keep him from winning a title but on any given night he has the offence & power to pull the odd upset...
Nothing wrong with that.
There's going to be twenty different articles this week on what's wrong with heavyweight boxing and Seth Mitchell's name will be all over them.
That's true. It's going to be harsh.

Of course he's strong. He's a big guy, a former college linebacker. So what? There are a lot of guys like him walking around. Size and strength do not a boxer make. As Chris himself said, he's been boxing since he was seven years old. Do you really have so little respect for the sport that you think someone can just pick it up and be good at it right away? I'm always happy to see a guy like Mitchell get smashed. To quote Arreola, "You don't play boxing."
thats why i said he needs a new trainer with time comes learning !!! i know it doesnt happen overnight and thats why i dont write seth off just yet
