Claressa Shields has made weight for her undisputed heavyweight title defense at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Shields came in at 174.6lbs, while her opponent, Lani Daniels, weighed 170.4lbs

Shields, 16-0 (3 KOs), a three-division undisputed champion, is fighting for the second time in 2025. In February, Shields, 30, defeated Danielle Perkins in Flint, Michigan, Shields’ hometown. By beating Perkins, Shields won the vacant IBF heavyweight title and the inaugural WBA female heavyweight title.

Daniels, 11-2-2 (1 KO), has fought her entire career in Oceania, as this will be her first fight outside of that region and in the United States. Daniels, a 37-year-old from Pipiwai, New Zealand, is unbeaten in her last 10 fights and riding an eight-fight win streak.
