One-sided beatdown, as former four division world champion Jorge Arce landed an avg. of five punches per round in his eleven round TKO defeat at the hands of WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez in Los Mochis. Arce was dropped three times, cut, and finally stopped as the referee stepped in during the eleventh to wave off the beating. Arce retired after the fight.

Who would have predicted this? He can still pull the trigger but I believe his loss of punch resistance and defensive faculties (reflexes and such) have hindered his willingness to go to war like he used to. A bit contradictory when you hear that he is willing to die and whatnot... not believing this ever again from any fighter unless their last name is Margarito.
Very dissappointed but at the same time I understand, and I have a lot of respect for him as a person and what he has given the sport through his career span.
lol Margarito is the
only guy I can think of that is not scare to die in the ring

Damn that's less than 5 punches a round.
That was like a man fighting a boy
That would have been hard to watch, glad I did not see it
