Ellie Scotney retained her IBF and WBO belts while annexing Yamileth Mercado’s WBC title Friday at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Scotney connected on 46 percent of her power punches, and 43 percent of those power-punch lands were body shots. The judges scored the fight 100-90 and 98-92 twice – all for Scotney.
