Daniel Dubois came in at a career-heaviest weight ahead of Saturday's challenge to WBO heavyweight titlist Fabio Wardley.
Wardley hit the scales at 242.2lbs compared to the 251.7lbs of his challenger.
"It's seek and destroy, I'm ready, I'm on it," said Dubois.
"It's only me and him once that bell goes," said Wardley.
Wardley's weight has been consistent in recent years, with him weighing between 240 and 243lbs since his 2022 victory over Nathan Gorman that won him the vacant British heavyweight title.
Dubois, 22-3 (21 KOs), has fluctuated a little more during the same timeframe. He weighed as little as 233 for the 2023 loss to Oleksandr Usyk, was as much as 248.5 for his career-best demolition of Anthony Joshua the following year, before dropping to 243 for the rematch against Usyk, another defeat, last year.
There is more than just Wardley's WBO heavyweight title at stake tomorrow night inside Manchester's Co-op Live Arena. Should the 20-0-1 (19 KOs) Wardley fail to win, he'll still be alongside Ken Norton as the only heavyweight titlist in history to not win a championship fight.
