A rejuvenated James DeGale (12-1, 9KOs) returns to the ring on October 13th at Glow in Bluewater, Kent to put his European belt on the line against Hadillah Mohoumadi (13-2-1, 9KOs) in his 14th professional outing.

The 26 year-old, who has now dropped his ‘Chunky’ alias, fights the French super-middleweight champion in his maiden bout after signing a long-term deal with Tyson Fury promoter Mick Hennessy last week.

DeGale’s departure from Frank Warren was much publicized in the media, but the Olympic gold medallist is now concentrating on becoming a world champion in the next twelve months, beginning with Mohoumadi.

Mohoumadi, 32, lost on points to DeGale’s last opponent Cristian Sanavia, who the Londoner took out with relative ease in Denmark and should be a another W on the record for the former Lonsdale belt holder.

Lenny Daws, middleweight prospect Chris Eubank Jnr, Phill Fury and unbeaten super-bantamweight Kid Galahad provide back-up for DeGale’s return, with the bill to be televised on Channel 5.
