Felix Parrilla made weight for his headlining bout in Puerto Rico. Parrilla of New Haven, Connecticut, will face Jose Velasquez of Quellon, Chile in a 10-round featherweight main event at Coliseo Pedrin Zorrilla in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The bout will be broadcast on DAZN.

Parrilla came in at 125.4lbs, while Jose Velasquez tipped the scales at 125.8lbs

Parrilla, 12-0 (10 KOs), will be fighting for third straight time in Puerto Rico, and enters on a two-fight knockout streak. Parrilla signed a co-promotional agreement with Salita Promotions in October, as the 26-year-old looks to do what no one else has done to date, stop the 36-year-old Velasquez. Velasquez has a record that lacks glamour, but has proven tough, as he went the distance with Murodjon Akhmadaliev in 2021. Velaquez, 34-12-3 (24 KOs), has mostly fought at junior featherweight, but had a stay-busy fight in October, stopping Juan Jimenez in the junior lightweight division.
