Floyd Schofield’s thunderous first-round dismissal of veteran Tevin Farmer in June has earned the rising talent his own DAZN main event in November.

An official connected to the negotiations informed BoxingScene that Schofield 19-0 (13 KOs) will headline a card in his home state of Texas, with Golden Boy Promotions’ head Oscar De La Hoya announcing Friday he’s poised to reveal the formal details.

On the heels of a disappointing health-related withdrawal of fighting WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson in Saudi Arabia in February, Schofield, 22, took on the challenge of former super-featherweight champion Farmer 33-9-1 (8 KOs) in Anaheim, California, on June 28.

Schofield, nicknamed "Kid Austin" in a tribute to his hometown, blitzed Farmer with power punches from the outset, knocking him down twice and finishing him at the 1 minute, 18-second mark of the first round.

Schofield is the WBA’s top-ranked lightweight contender under champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis and is the IBF’s No. 3 contender as champion Raymond Muratalla and No. 1 contender Andy Cruz head to a title fight.
