British heavyweights Johnny Fisher and Dave Allen have both weighed in ahead of their rematch this Saturday at London’s Copper Box Arena.
Fisher, who controversially won the first fight against Allen last year, tipped the scales at 245.5lbs. Allen, meanwhile, weighed 265lbs.
Back in December, before their first encounter, Allen weighed 257 1/2lbs compared to Fisher’s 241. The Doncaster man was at his heaviest in 2018 when he weighed 272lbs before stopping David Howe in four rounds and has never been lighter than the 232lbs he weighed for his debut in 2012.
Fisher, 13-0 (11 KOs), has been far more consistent on the scales since turning professional in 2021, with his weight only fluctuating between 237 and 245lbs.
In December, Allen, 23-7-2 (18), managed to surprise many by dropping Fisher in round five and appeared to have done enough to win the fight on the cards after 10 completed rounds. However, it was Fisher who ultimately left Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a split decision win and with his unbeaten record still intact.
They fight again over 10 rounds this weekend.
