Bantamweight prospect Iván Morales, the brother of Erik “Terrible” Morales, will appear on the undercard where Rigoberto Alvarez defends his "regular" WBA 154-pound title against Austin Trout on February 5 at Sergio Leon Chávez Soccer Stadium in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico on a card promoted by Canelo Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions.

Morales, who is unbeaten in eight fights and won five by knockout, will be making his first appearance for Golden Boy, which is run by Oscar De La Hoya. He feels very pumped to put on a great show.

"We can do important things with Golden Boy Promotions. My fight will be at super flyweight and I only need them to designate an opponent," Morales said. "The objectives are very clear for this year. I want to be known internationally with the company, because they know that I have a great future and I'll give great fights."

"That's why I train much harder, the discipline is the most important thing in boxing and I'm getting the support of my father (Jose Morales) and my brother Diego and I know I can do important things. I want to be known for the way I fight, and not because of the name Morales. I want to build and make my own story with my style of boxing."
