Jake Wyllie will face fellow Australian Youssef Dib in a lightweight headliner and countrywoman Skye Nicolson will make her return on August 23 at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia, promoter Matchroom announced on its social media pages Thursday.

Wyllie, 17-2 (16 KOs), most recently returned from a 12-round decision loss to George Kambosos Jnr in March to knock out Saharat Taehirun in the first round at Fortitude Music Hall just a month later. After recording a no-contest against Allan Villanueva at welterweight in February and falling to Kambosos in a junior welterweight matchup, the 25-year-old Wyllie – from Everton Park, Queensland – will slide down to 135lbs for the first time since his fifth professional fight, in 2021.

Dib, 21-3 (11 KOs), a 32-year-old from Sydney, is coming off back-to-back losses to Liam Wilson, in March and last July, respectively. His most recent win is a stoppage of Nort Beauchamp last March, but he has lost three of his past four outings – after starting his career 20-0.

Nicolson, 13-1 (2 KOs), a 29-year-old originally from Meadowbrook, Queensland, is a former featherweight titleholder coming off a bounce-back win – and a rare stoppage – over Carla Camila Campos Gonzales on the July 5 Jack Catterall-Harlem Eubank bill in Manchester, England. Previously, Nicolson was upended in a split decision defeat, losing her belt to Tiara Brown in March in Sydney.

She will meet India’s Urvashi Singh – a 30-year-old from Delhi who holds a record of 12-3 (7 KOs) – at junior featherweight. Singh has fought only once in Australia, outpointing Thanchanok Phanan in a rematch at Malvern Town Hall last December. She is currently on a four-fight winning streak.
