Jarrell Miller has split from Dmitry Salita, according to the heavyweight.
Miller, 36, was scheduled to fight Britain’s Fabio Wardley on June 7, but a reported shoulder injury forced his withdrawal from that contest and he has since been replaced as Wardley’s opponent by Australia’s Justis Huni.
He had been attempting to revive his career under a new trainer in Derrick “Bozy” Ennis, following a defeat by Daniel Dubois and a draw with Andy Ruiz Jnr, the latter in August 2024. He had previously been inactive from November 2018 to June 2022 as a consequence of him twice testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
“There’s a lot of ‘he said she said’ s**t going on right now, so let’s clear it up,” he said in a statement released on social media. “Dimitry Salita and Greg Cohen are no longer my promoter. I have no promoter. [Editor's note: Miller mentioned Cohen in his original post, which since edited by the boxer]
“I’ve been dealing with a slight set back and will be good in another week.
“The only person that can speak is in this pic and it’s my manager as shown in the picture above, Spencer Brown.
“Absolutely no-one else. More updates coming soon.”
