After a great performance on Saturday night at the Cosme Betia Coliseum, where he defeated the Dominican Leivi Brea, undefeated prospect Jose "Wonder Boy" Lopez (12-0-10 KO’s), the WBC FECARBOX super bantamweight champion, secured a spot on the June 7 undercard at Madison Square Garden in New York - where Miguel Cotto will be challenging the WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez.
"I was just informed of the news of when I'm getting in the ring again and I'm very excited," Lopez told Mr. Boxing. "I'm very excited with the news and I'm very proud of what I did today."
Lopez will be seeing action as part of the HBO Latino card, which airs prior to the Cotto vs. Martinez PPV.
