The brand new interim flyweight world champion of the World Boxing Association, Juan Carlos "Coton" Reveco (27-1, 16KOs), has set his sights on the full WBA champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (30-2, 23KOs). Reveco captured the interim belt last week by stopping Jean Piero in two rounds in Mendoza, Argentina. Marquez faces Silviu Olteanu on July 2 in Sonora, Mexico. Reveco is hoping the WBA will force Marquez to make a mandatory defense in his next outing.

"He is an extremely strong fighter who throws a lot of punches. He is a great fighter, a great champion. So it would be great if I can secure that fight," Reveco said.
