The former world champion of the International Boxing Federation, Colombian Juan Urango, will return to the in his homeland of Monteria, Colombia, on Friday September 14. The event will be held at the Recreation Center Tacasuan.

Urango returns to his country after nearly a ten year absence, during which he carried his powerful punch to the rings of Spain, the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

After a two year layoff, he came back in April to take a fight in Mexico and knocked out Christian Chavez in two rounds.

He wants to build himself up to the point of getting a shot at the current WBC king, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

In the main support, South American champion Anuar Salas (11-1, 9 KOs) will defend his belt against Ecuadorian Juan Carlos Vega (8-2, 5 KOs).
