Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr is back. Again. Fighting at 191lbs, the former middleweight contender, now 40 years old, improved to 55-7-1 (35 KOs) with a fourth-round stoppage win over Angel Julian Sacco at Arena Coliseo, San Luis Posti, in Mexico.
A left hook dropped Sacco onto one knee and he remained there until the referee had stopped counting.
Argentine Sacco, from Buenos Aries, fell to 10-2-1 (4 KOs). Chavez, incidentally, turned professional back in 2003 and it was his first fight back since a 10-round decision defeat to Jake Paul last June.
Omar Chavez also boxed on the bill and is now 42-9-1 (29 KOs) following a two-round win over Jose Miguel Torres Tafur at 175lbs.
