Canadian middleweight champion Francis Lafreniere (7-5-2) stopped Polish boxer Marcin Cybulski (8-4-2), earning the victory by TKO in the second round of a scheduled eight. After dropping Cybulski with a solid body blow, Lafreniere forced the referee to stop the duel after the resumption of hostilities. The victory was delivered at 2:16 of the second
round.
The gala, sponsored by brothers Otis and Howard Grant, took place on the 7th of November at Château Vaudreuil, a suburb of Montreal.
Also, heavyweight prospect of Laval, Erik Bazinyan (7-0), stopped Mexican Victor Manuel Palacios (10-10-1) in the first round.
Finally, a prospect of the firm Eye of the Tiger Management, Montreal's Steven Butler (7-0) destroyed his opponent, Hungarian Peter Orlik (4-5-1). After a complete domination, he got the KO at 1:41 in the first round.
