GUAYNABO, PUERTO RICO - In what promises to be the biggest domestic battle at 135 pounds, WBC regional champion Fernando Torres (17-1-1, 10KO's) and undefeated Abner Cotto (11-0, 5KO's) went face to face at their official press conference to announce their main event showdown on October 28 at the Convention Center in Guayama. The ten round bout will be co-promoted by Universal Promotions, Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment.

Is Abner Cotto related to Miguel Cotto or is Cotto a popular last name in Puerto Rico?
He is related to Miguel Cotto & Cotto is a pretty common last name especially in the Caguas(which is where Miguel Cotto is from) San Lorenzo, Cidra, Aguas Buenas & Gurabo area..
