Entertainment Centre, New Castle, Australia - Former two division champion Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Rigoberto Alvarez (27-4, 20 KOs) to capture the vacant WBA interim-junior middleweight title. Ult something? I remember him. He actually thought Mundine would beat Froch lol. But to be fair to him, this was Froch pre-Pascal, so he wasn't a world beater himself.
Mundine turned down a fight with Froch before the Cobra was well known outside of the UK. Even then Mundine knew he'd get embarrassed.

Any old school posters remember that user that was absolutely obsessed with Anthony Mundine and would talk about him all the time? Good times man. Good times.
