Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City - IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander (25-1, 13 KOs) kept his title and streak going with a seventh round TKO over Lee Purdy (20-4-1, 13 KOs). Purdy took a beating for most of the fight, as Alexander unloaded with both hands. The gutsy British boxer was unable to come out for the eight round when his corner made a decision, led by middleweight contender Darren Barker, to pull him out.

STFU with this BS. You are just straight hating on Devon.
Devon came to fight and threw everything he had. He gave Purdy the fight he wanted, toe to toe action not boxing. It's not Devon's fault Purdy just played peak a boo all night long.
If Purdy had shown up to fight this would have been a sensational fight. Can't fault Devon for his opponent not throwing back.
You can't fault Alexander at all for the fight sucking. He was the only one throwing anything.

Alexander is so boring to me, even when he beats up the guy like how he did purdy. Smh

That's about as bad as an action fight gets. Purdy fought as bad as a fighter can.
Yeah it reminded you of the pac vs clottey fight where clottey threw even less punches than Purdy ... How was this fight horrible but the PAC win over clottey was a brilliant performance?

so is it alexander vs khan? or is khan going to wait for the mathysse vs garcia winner?
Khan hasn't ruled out either option.
I think everything depends on the Floyd-Canelo negotiations
