The bout between Miguel Berchelt and Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo finally has a home for Saturday night.

Berchelt will defend his interim junior lightweight world title belt at the Polideportivo Soraya Jimenez in Los Reyes La Paz, Mexico, Mexico, Zanfer Promotions liaison Sean Gibbons confirmed to BoxingScene.com in a recent interview.

The bout will top a Zanfer Promotions card and will air on beIN Sports en Espanol, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. PT.

Berchelt (29-1, 26 KOs) won the interim world title bout on March 12, stopping overmatched George Jupp in the sixth round in Merida, Mexico.

The 24-year-old Berchelt has won his last eight bouts since a knockout loss to Luis Eduardo Florez in March of 2014.

Should Berchelt come out victorious, a fight against WBO junior lightweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko is in the cards. Roman 'Rocky' Martinez, whom Lomachenko defeated on June 11, was obligated to face Berchelt before losing the title.

Piriyapinyo (61-2, 41 KOs) has won his last nine bouts against mediocre opposition since losing a one-sided 12 round decision to Lomachenko in November of 2014.
