According to Russian media, former WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (42-3, 23 KOs) may return to the ring on January 26th. The German fighter of Russian extraction will fight an eight-round tune-up bout during the show in Barcelona, Spain, providing that his promoters will find him a proper opponent.
Megdeburg-based Stieglitz,31, has been out of the ring since being decisoned by the current WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (36-3, 28 KOs) in August last year. According to recent reports, the both fighters will likely fight rematch in late March or early Apirl during a show which is going to be staged in one of the German cities.
