Super middleweight prospect Roberto J. Acevedo (7-0, 4 KO's), who is coming a first round knockout of veteran Mexican fighter Francisco Rios on January 4th, is currently training with his sights set on a possible return to the ring in February, potentially in Puerto Rico.
Acevedo is currently training at Contenders Gym in Fort Lauderdale, FL under the supervision of Melvin "Chico" Rivas, John Davis Jackson and assistant Derik Santos. Acevedo has received a great reception from the media circles in Puerto Rico.
