WBA interim-junior flyweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (27-0, 23KOs) is ready for war with any fighter who dares to step in the ring with him. He wants Juan Carlos Reveco, who scheduled himself in a ten round tuneup on January 21 in Argentina. The WBA wants Gonzalez-Reveco to take place to crown an absolute champion in the weight class. Reveco is having managerial issues and wants to break away from his agent Osvaldo Rivero. He will vacate the title if the WBA does not approve his request to break away from Rivero.

"I do not care if it is with Reveco or a Mexican boxer, or a Japanese boxer or whoever.  I'll be ready to go and destroy, to throw punches and beat whoever they put me in against," said Gonzalez.

"It would be a shame [if Reveco vacates] because I would like to make it clear on who is better in the division. I know I can win and knock Reveco out, but I can't for the moment, so I'll stay sharp for whoever they put me in with."
