Román “Chocolatito” González (26-0, 22 KOs) is entering his final stage of training for the rematch with Francisco “La Chiquita” Rosas (21-7-2, 12 KOs). They will fight on October 24 in Tokyo, Japan for the interim-WBA flyweight belt. Gonzalez's trainer Arnulfo Obando is confident his boxer will win the rematch. Gonzalez won the first meeting last year with a close decision.

"He's sharp, 'Chocolate.' He'll come to this fight in impressive condition.Rosas will not have anything to combat Roman, you'll see," said Obando.

The undefeated fighter is the sixth to become the world champion in Nicaragua; a list that includes Alexis Arguello, Ricardo Mayorga, Rosendo Alvarez, Adonis Rivas and Luis Perez.

Roman has had one of best training camps of his career, sparring for 36-rounds with Jesus Silvestre (18-2, 14 KOs).

"It was very helpful, the sparring was aimed to improve his defense and Roman punished him with combinations and hooks. That's why I think if ill beat Rosas. This time destruction is assured," said Obando.
