All fighters made weight ahead of the Ring III show at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York on Saturday.

Edgar Berlanga, wearing a Tottenham Hotspur jersey (because opponent Hamzah Sheeraz supports rival team Arsenal), weighed 167.6lbs and Sheeraz, moving up to super middleweight, weighed the same.

Shakur Stevenson weighed in on the nose of 135lbs for his WBC lightweight title defense against William Zepeda, who came in inside the limit, and challenger Subriel Matias came in bang on 140lbs for his junior welterweight title fight with champion Alberto Puello, who was 0.2lbs under the limit.

“Saturday night is going to be fireworks. I’m locked in,” said Berlanga.

“We’re feeling good,” said Sheeraz. “We’re feeling ready. It’s about enjoying it.”

Stevenson, who will be hoping to steal the show, added: “Honestly, I’m prepared. I’m ready.”

Morrell, having already made weight earlier in the day, did not appear at the ceremonial weigh-in.
