Hala Sportowa, ul. Zuzlowa 4, Czestochowa, Polska - Welterweight southpaw Lukasz Wierzbicki improved his unbeaten record to 14-0, 6 KOs, with a very hard-fought split decision over tough customer Michal Zerominski (13-3-1, 1 KOs) for a vacant national 147lb belt.

The fight was fought on even terms for an entire contest. Zerominski was an aggressor, but Wierzbicki, who has previously fought mostly of Canada, did his very best to remain competitive. The younger fighter - it was Wierzbicki - was very active in the midst of the fight, scoring frequently, sometimes even at will, while Zerominski wasn't as successful with his punches. Both combatants ended the fight standing and exchanging blows. Final scores were: 97-93 - for Zerominski, 96-95 and 96-94 - for still undefeated Lukasz Wierzbicki. BoxingScene had it dead even: 95-95 - a draw.

WBO #12 light heavyweight Robert Parzeczewski (18-1, 11 KOs) looked fairly solid in a three-round stoppage of overmatched Tanzanian veteran Said Mbwela (43-26-5, 28 KOs), 39 years of old.

Parzeczewski, 24, landed a huge right cross to open up the fight, then concentrated on Mbwela's body, landing hard damaging blows. Mbwela was hurt and sufering by the third, when a left hook to the chin placed him down for the first time. He got up to go down seconds later after a right cross.

The Tanzanian veteran was up on his legs again but moments later the Pole got the job done, as the African was going down after yet another left bomb.

Light welterweights Michal Lesniak and Kamil Mlodzinski produced a valiant effort a month and a half ago, ending in a close majority decision loss of Mlodzinski. Both combatants got their thriller repeated tonight, but this time no one has been declared a winner, a vacant Republic of Poland 140lb title remaining vacant. Scores were: 95-95, 97-93 - for Lesniak (7-1-1, 2 KOs), and 96-94 - for Mlodzinski (8-2-4, 5 KOs).

Hulking super middleweight Mateusz Rzadkosz (6-0-1, 2 KOs) avenged the only blmish of his career, stopping bitter opponent Tomasz Gromadzski (5-1-1, 1 KO) in round five of scheduled eight. Gromadzski narrowly got the first, but Rzadkosz used his height and arm length advantage to keep his foe at bay for the next three rounds. Rzadkosz exploded with a multi-punch combo in round five, landing no less than ten blows to the upper part of Gromadzski's body, then went to the liver for a knockdown. Gromadzski got up but answered NO to Grzegorz Molenda's Q if he wanted to continue. Both fought to a draw in February 2016.

Lightweight prospect Damian Wrzesinski (12-1-1-1 NC, 5 KOs) started promptly but saw his effort cut short in round one, when an accidental headbut opened a huge cut over Marek Laskowski's eyebrow. The fight was stopped as is and will be written in the books as a No Contest. Laskowski's record reads 9-8-2, 1 KO.
