BoxingScene.com has heard that unbeaten prospect Vanes Martirosyan (25-0, 16KOs) may face NABF junior middleweight champion Willie Lee (17-5, 11KOs) on the December 12 pay-per-view undercard to Kelly Pavlik-Miguel Espino at the Beeghly Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Lee has had an interesting career. He was the pro debut opponent for Yusaf Mack, losing in two rounds. He was stopped in three by a young 10-0 Chad Dawson, then a middleweight, in 2003. In his last fight, he pulled an upset split decision win over veteran Alex Bunema.
