Former WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo " Papito " Vazquez Jr. announced through his social network account that he is now a part of the Miguel Cotto Promotions family.

Vazquez ( 23-3-1-19 KO's) was recently released by his previous promoter, All Star Boxing, which led him to a world title.

Papito will be commentating this Saturday fights in Caguas, during the card being presented by Miguel Cotto Promotions and Top Rank for Univision Deportes.

Vazquez Jr. defeated Guillermo "Borrego" Avila last September for the WBO international super bantamweight title.

With this recent signing, it would jeopardize a potential fight against former world champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez. Miguel Cotto Promotions have big plans for Papito and they have nothing to do with Lopez.

The next ring return of Vazquez is potentially going to take place on June 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York, as part of the card being headlined by Miguel Cotto vs. Sergio Martinez.
