The ring return of cruiserweight prospect Pat Brown takes place on Friday, April 3, against Vasil Ducar.
BoxingScene confirmed the news that the fight had been made last week as Brown aims to improve to 6-0 against the experienced Czech, who is 19-7-2 (14 KOs).
"I’m delighted to be headlining for a second time In Altrincham in six fights,” said Brown.
"I think I’ve shown in these fights that I don’t want a padded record. We’ve seen Ducar come over here and cause all kinds of problems before, but I believe I'm a different proposition entirely.
"I’m expecting a great fight in front of my fans – but a fight I believe I’ll win emphatically."
Featuring on the undercard at Planet Ice in Altrincham will be Manchester’s William Crolla, 9-1 (7 KOs), who faces the 12-2 (1 KO) Jermaine Osbourne-Edwards at 154lbs, while 14-2 (4 KOs) Joe Howarth takes on 8-0-1 Josh Blenkiron at lightweight.
Popular featherweight Alfie Middlemiss (5-0), faces 10-3-1 (1 KO) Lewis Morris and former cruiserweight title challenger Jordan Thompson, having lost to Lenier Pero last November, has a slot on the bill alongside the talented Croft brothers, Garan and Ioan – both 5-0 – in their first fights since signing for Matchroom and with manager Sam Jones.
