Ibeth Zamora (20-5, 8KOs) will defend her WBC light flyweight title against Yessica Chavez (21-3-3, 4KOs) in Toluca, in a battle between the absolute and silver champion. Promoter, Oswaldo Kuchle, announced that the champion will face top ranked Chavez on November 29th.

Kuchle explained that the bout will be held at a baseball stadium with capacity for more than 15,000 fans, as it's a much anticipated bout for the two sets of supporters of these warriors, both of whom were born in the State of Mexico.

The mandatory is ordered by the World Boxing Council, and is the culmination of a great boiling rivalry that has been developing between them.
