Who will leave Las Vegas as the top cruiserweight in the world?
That’s the question that Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez and David Benavidez will look to decide when they meet tonight, May 2, at T-Mobile Arena. Ramirez, 48-1 (30 KOs), will be defending his WBO and WBA titles at 200lbs, while Benavidez, 31-0 (25 KOs), will try to win world titles in his third weight class. The main event will be an all-Mexican title fight on the weekend preceding Cinco de Mayo, which raises the stakes even higher.
Other fights scheduled for the card include Oscar Duarte vs. Angel Fierro, Armando Resendiz vs. Jaime Munguia and Isaac Lucero vs. Ismael Flores.
