Argentina’s Alan Chaves made his first fight on foreign soil a memorable one Saturday at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, knocking out Miguel Madueno in three rounds.
The time of the stoppage was 1:26 in the third.
A lightweight southpaw from San Miguel, Buenos Aires, and a recent Matchroom Boxing signee, Chaves made short work of a game veteran, landing a straight left hand that left the 27-year-old Madueno motionless on the canvas.
Chaves improved to 22-0 (19 KOs), while Madueno fell to 31-5 (28 KOs).
Chaves has now stopped each of his past five opponents, while Madueno has lost all three of his previous fights.
