At this afternoon’s weigh-in in London, Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper were both comfortably inside the lightweight limit of 135 lbs ahead of their headline fight tomorrow night.
Dubois, the WBC women’s lightweight champion, recorded a weight of 134.3 lbs, while Harper, owner of the WBO title, weighed in at 134.6 lbs.
Dubois, 12-0-1 (5 KOs), and Harper, 16-2-2 (6 KOs), have been going back and forth for some time and will now get a chance to settle their differences on Sunday at Kensington’s Olympia.
Elsewhere, Ellie Scotney, 11-0, weighed 121.8 lbs for her WBC, IBF and WBO women’s bantamweight title defence against Mexico’s Mayelli Flores. Flores, whose record is 13-1-1 (4 KOs), weighed 121.2 lbs.
At junior middleweight, Chantelle Cameron, 21-1 (8 KOs), registered a weight of 148.2 lbs ahead of her upcoming WBO title challenge, with Michaela Kotaskova, 11-0-2 (4 KOs), coming in at 150.1 lbs.
