Jessie Magdaleno stopped Luis Coria in three rounds of a scheduled 10-round featherweight fight Saturday at the Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino, California. Magdaleno landed 43 percent of his punches, including 47 percent of his power punches, while allowing Coria to land only 19 percent of his punches. Magdaleno hurt Coria in the closing minute of the opening frame and then knocked him down in the last minute of the third round. Coria’s corner threw in the towel after the end of the third round.
