Russian super middleweight Pavel Silyagin will meet U.S.-based Ecuadorian Carlos Gongora in an eight-round main event of an IBA Boxing and RCC co-promotion on May 2 in Brest, Belarus.

Silyagin, 15-0-1 (7 KOs), fought Evgeny Shvedenko to a draw in September 2023 and has won two since, knocking out the 13-0 Rizvan Elikhanov in one round in February 2024 and outpointing the 14-3 Ulugbek Sobirov last September.

Silaygin is ranked No. 12 by the WBA and No. 14 by the IBF.

Gongora, 22-3 (17 KOs), was last seen in the ring in June 2024, when he lost a unanimous decision to 17-0 prospect Lester Martinez. He is not ranked in the top 15 by any of the four major sanctioning bodies.

In the co-feature, local light heavyweight and amateur star Aliaksei Alfiorau, 1-0 (0 KOs), and Saveliy Sadoma, 6-0 (3 KOs), will clash in a scheduled 10-rounder.
