As is often the case in boxing, fighters are using keyboards and social media accounts to do the talking.

While Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez have previously discussed mutual respect and fighting one another, 140-pounder Lopez wrote on X today, “My team told Oscar De La Hoya we’d fight Ryan Garcia next, and his management turned it down.”

The future of all three remains unlcear.

Garcia has boxed just once this year, coming off a PED ban, losing to Rolly Romero in Times Square in May, and Lopez boxed on the same Times Square bill to defeat Arnold Barboza.

Stevenson has boxed twice, notching victories over William Zepeda and Josh Padley.
