Just 24 hours separate their respective New York bills this weekend, but Turki Alalshikh and Jake Paul have made time to put any perceived differences behind them.
Both have taken to social media to post an image of them together while in town and there was no sign of any previous hard feelings between the pair.
Alalshikh posted the picture of them with a boxing glove and flame emoji, while Paul was more expansive in his post.
“My/MVPs goal has always been to disrupt and grow boxing,” he wrote. “And Turki has done that in massive ways. Collaborating only helps ensure boxing, for women and men, continues to grow and regain its place as the biggest sport in the world.”
On Friday night, on Netflix, Paul promotes an all women’s show from Madison Square Garden topped by the trilogy fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and a day later, in Flushing Meadow, Alalshikh promotes the bill topped by WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson against William Zepeda.
In September, Alalshikh will work with TKO to stage Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford, on Netflix.
