Closely contested fight. Forget hideous scorecards (90-80, 89-81 & 87-83 all for Quillin) compiled by 3 blind mice Cheeks, Roldan & McNair. WBO middleweight champion Peter Quillin scored a flash knockdown in round two on Gabe Rosado - after that they fought on even terms. Quillin, who was the busier fighter, had just an 8 punch edge in total punches landed. Rosado's cut was wide, but wasn't bleeding excessively. He should have been given an opportunity to continue.
