With Dmitry Bivol and Evander Holyfield watching from ringside, Hungarian super middleweights Szabolcs Szabo and Attila Koros again headlined a New School Promotion show in Budapest, Hungary, this past weekend in a fight for the vacant national title – and again the result was a draw.
The fighters first met in December, a match that ended in a majority draw after 10 rounds. With this most recent result, Szabo is now 12-4-4 (4 KOs) while Koros is 18-37-3 (14 KOs).
Uzbek junior featherweight Mukhammad Shekov, 16-0-1 (4 KOs), appeared in the chief support and outscored Venezuelan veteran Orlando Morales, 13-3 (12 KOs).
Cruiserweight Shokhjakhon Abdullaev, 4-0 (2 KOs) beat veteran Ivan Matute, 31-21-2 (26 KOs), on points in another eight-rounder.
